Terms and Conditions

MONTHLY SERVICE AGREEMENT – ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION

This agreement governs the subscription-based handyman services provided by Mr. Martin Handyman Services. By subscribing through our website and clicking “I Agree”, the CLIENT agrees to the following terms:

CLIENT: The individual whose information is entered at the time of subscription on our website.
CONTRACTOR: Mr. Martin Handyman Services

This MONTHLY SERVICE AGREEMENT is established under the following terms and conditions, in compliance with applicable U.S. federal and state laws:

  1. PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT

1.1. This agreement governs the provision of handyman services by the CONTRACTOR to the CLIENT, covering preventive and corrective maintenance as outlined in the selected subscription plan.

1.2. Services may include, but are not limited to: minor electrical repairs, plumbing, installations, furniture moving, small carpentry work, painting, drywall repairs, pressure washing, and general home maintenance.

1.3. Details regarding service hours, limitations, and pricing are defined in the chosen plan and visible during the subscription process.

  1. SERVICE PLANS

2.1. The CLIENT may choose from the following recurring plans:

– Monthly Plan: $399/month (None)

– Quarterly Plan: $349/month (3-month commitment)

– Semi-Annual Plan: $299/month (6-month commitment)

2.2. Each plan includes 8 service hours per month. Unused hours do not carry over to the following month.

2.3. Additional hours beyond the plan will be charged at $[Insert Hourly Rate] per hour, with prior approval from the CLIENT.

2.4. The subscription is linked to a single residential address, registered at the time of contracting. It is non-transferable and cannot be used across multiple properties.

2.5. Moving to a new residence requires a new subscription and contract. Services cannot be split or shared between different addresses.

 

  1. SERVICE HOURS

3.1. Services are performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, by appointment and subject to availability.

3.2. Appointments must be scheduled in advance.

3.3. Services requested outside of regular hours are considered emergency services and fall under Clause 4.

 

  1. EMERGENCY SERVICES

4.1. Services requested after 6:30 PM on weekdays, on weekends, or on federal holidays will be treated as emergency services.

4.2. Emergency services depend on technician availability and urgency.

4.3. Emergency services will be charged at an additional rate of $[Insert Emergency Fee] per hour, with a minimum charge of [Insert Minimum Hours].

4.4. These include, but are not limited to: urgent plumbing or electrical issues, structural hazards, and locksmith emergencies.

 

  1. CONTRACTOR’S OBLIGATIONS

5.1. Perform services in a timely manner and with quality standards, following applicable safety and construction regulations.

5.2. Provide qualified and, when necessary, licensed professionals.

5.3. Comply with labor and tax regulations.

5.4. Provide standard tools and minor repair materials. Any special equipment or materials required will be the CLIENT’s responsibility or billed separately.

 

  1. CLIENT’S OBLIGATIONS

6.1. Keep payments up to date as described in Clause 7.

6.2. Provide proper access for service delivery.

6.3. Inform of any changes in maintenance needs.

6.4. Ensure a safe and compliant environment for technicians.

6.5. Only request services within the handyman scope – services requiring licensed trades (e.g. major electrical or plumbing) are excluded.

6.6. Services are exclusively for the registered address. Requests for alternate locations will be declined.

 

  1. PAYMENT

7.1. The CLIENT authorizes recurring charges on the selected plan, processed automatically on the date of subscription each month.

7.2. Delays in payment may result in a 2% late fee, 1% monthly interest, and legal monetary correction.

7.3. Extra services outside the plan will be quoted and billed separately.

7.4. All payments are non-refundable. Canceling before the plan period ends does not entitle the CLIENT to a refund or credit for unused hours.

 

  1. TERM AND TERMINATION

8.1. Subscription term depends on the selected plan:

   – Monthly: Auto-renewed monthly until canceled with 30-day notice.

   – Quarterly: 3-month commitment, auto-renewed unless canceled 30 days prior to renewal.

   – Semi-Annual: 6-month commitment, auto-renewed unless canceled 30 days prior to renewal.

8.2. Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days’ written notice via email.

8.3. Breach of contract terms may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

 

  1. LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS

9.1. We are not liable for pre-existing damages, structural issues, or services beyond handyman scope.

9.2. We are not responsible for problems arising from CLIENT-supplied materials or non-compliant instructions.

9.3. Mr. Martin holds general liability insurance, but we are not liable for damages caused by natural disasters, acts of God, or CLIENT negligence.

 

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

10.1. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State] and applicable federal laws.

10.2. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Insert County/State].
